Herringbone patterned surfaces

Commonly used in but not necessary limited to  kitchen backsplashes, the herringbone pattern is a pretty versatile way to add texture to a surface. Avoid a monotonous space by incorporating a herringbone backsplash. We've attached a few images below on what we think are the best uses of this design element.
