The home was originally built in 1935 and the home had a lot of original wood working that we had to preserve but also a lot of details that needed updating. For this project, we saved the original solid wood door trims and reinstalled them. We also matched the 2" oak planks that were installed in the bedrooms and hallways.
The main room we brought into the 21st century was the primary bathroom. We got rid of all the old and worn out finishes and installed a clean & modern feeling bathroom. We had to reorient the location of the plumbing fixtures to get a larger shower and a double vanity in there. Vanity is prefab from Wayfair and tiles were sourced by the homeowner.
