Kitchen on Mar E St, Tiburon

A like to like remodel, where we updated the kitchen and sunroom. Last remodeled in 2004, this costal home was in need of some updating. We installed a new center island with a bump out sink underneath the Calacatta quartz countertops. For the backsplash, our client went with matching quartz subway backsplash. The accent piece above the range consist of a patterned 12"x12" mesh tile in the center and a custom bullnose border around it. We upgraded the range from a 28" to a 36" range. To do this, we had to reframe the countertops around the range. As for lighting, we added the lights over the island and upgraded the recessed lights to dimmable LEDs. For floors, we used a 7.5"x24" engineered hardwood with a driftwood finish.
