The owners of the property moved in late 2021 and the kitchen still had the original finish materials when the house was built in the 1980's. As part of the project, we removed a non-structural wall that separated the kitchen and what used to be a tight dining room. We created a much more open kitchen with a newly framed center island, wrap around cabinets, inset appliances, new lighting, and new LVP flooring throughout the space.
Our client wanted to break up the white from the ceiling & shaker style cabinets by using different materials for the backsplash and both the countertops. The center island was finished with Black Walnut to match the color from the floors.
