Kitchen remodel on Picnic Ave, San Rafael

This kitchen remodel was phase 2 of a multi phased plan to renovate the home. The homeowners were redesigning their home to fit their Contemporary aesthetic. For the work done, we started off by changing the layout of the kitchen to have a walk-in pantry and an island open to the living area. We exposed the original PSL beam that was wrapped in sheetrock then we smoothed out the walls to a level 4 smooth finish. Installed new 8” engineered hardwood flooring and installed new inset European style cabinets with built in stainless steel appliances.

For the countertops, the homeowners opted for quartz because of it no/low maintenance and attractive pricepoint compared to natural stone. We did waterfall finish on the countertops and matching full height backsplash. Doors were purchased from Golden State Lumber and painted by our crew.
